Position: Unarmed Flex Security Officer (Floater) 

This position is based in Houston, TX. We are looking for security officers who already have a full time job and want to work here on their days off/off season. 

How it works: We ask you your availability and schedule to any open posts that we have available. Once confirmed, we will assign you to a site. Dependability is a must to keep this position within Green City Security. We are OK with you not being available all the time, but once you confirm you are available, we do expect you to come through! 

The pay for this position $16.00 per hour with part-time to full-time hours . Y ou must have a working vehicle in good condition to work at this post.

Responsibilities:

• Foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety, experience in security preferred
• Familiarity with detailed report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing

Requirements 

• High School diploma is required
• Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone
• Noncommisioned security license and/or Level II Training Certificate
