About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Tax in Wealth Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading tax planning initiatives that are integral to the comprehensive and coordinated wealth management strategies for ultra-high-net-worth clients. This role involves close collaboration with client advisors to deliver tailored financial planning solutions, developing and maintaining relationships with external advisors, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, consistent planning advice across the organization. The Vice President will also engage in strategic discussions to address complex financial and risk management matters and contribute to the firm's platform development and content curation efforts. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA certification preferred, and a minimum of 6 years of experience in tax planning and wealth management. The role requires a proven expertise in planning techniques for ultra-high-net-worth clients, strong organizational and project management skills, and excellent communication abilities to simplify complex topics. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships, experience in mentoring and educating teams on financial concepts, and a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment. Key responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert on complex tax and planning issues, managing relationships with external service providers, and supporting the firm's efforts in enhancing planning quality and consistency.
