Work Environment

This full-time position offers an onsite work environment, with a focus on home care services. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-rounded work-life balance. Our facility spans over 5000 square feet, fully equipped to support a wide array of physical therapy needs leveraging modern sports medicine technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' goals and therapy needs while ensuring high patient satisfaction.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused, tailored care approaches aimed at optimizing recovery.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions and modalities such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Design specialized fitness and wellness programs that cater to each patient's unique conditions and lifestyles.
• Encourage patients through motivational support and education to promote adherence to treatment regimens.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care, thereby enhancing treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting services rendered and modifying treatment approaches as necessary.
• Provide professional recommendations for non-surgical alternatives to medication where appropriate, in alignment with patient goals.
• Utilize EMR software, such as WebPT, to streamline documentation and optimize workflow.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals with diverse needs that often stem from orthopedic issues. We pride ourselves on serving clients undergoing rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing exercise programs.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy best practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Effective communication skills for patient engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, specifically in home care services.
• Familiarity with on-line documentation systems such as EMR software to enhance administrative efficiency.
• Demonstrated success in patient engagement and motivational techniques to aid recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
