Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized treatment to patients, tailored to their unique goals and physical needs.
• Maintain an effective patient caseload, allowing for comprehensive assessment, treatment, and recovery tracking.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation to guide patients through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating a range of techniques and modalities to achieve optimal recovery.
• Focus on non-surgical strategies, minimizing patients' reliance on medication through muscle strengthening and mobility enhancements.
• Engage patients during their rehabilitation journey, providing motivation and encouragement along the way.
• Advocate for healthy lifestyle choices that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and integrate services across all aspects of patient health.
• Document patient progress meticulously using EMR systems such as Web PT, ensuring all treatment plans are accurately tracked.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed for maximum benefit.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients rehabilitating from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other mobility-limiting conditions. Our clientele ranges from active athletes seeking to return to their sport to everyday individuals looking to regain strength and mobility. You will play an integral role in helping each patient navigate their recovery and achieve their personal fitness goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean history free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exhibit proficiency in a wide array of manual therapy modalities and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Demonstrate familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Showcase current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy techniques that enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting or a strong focus on treating sports-related injuries.
• Expertise in developing and leading rehabilitation programs tailored to diverse patient scenarios.
• Proven ability to generate and implement fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term patient health.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
