Work Environment

Your work environment will be an onsite rehabilitation center equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed for comprehensive patient care. We operate Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced schedule conducive to both patient interaction and professional development. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Healing Touch, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of therapeutic and administrative duties, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the physical capabilities and limitations of each patient.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic methods and modalities.
• Administering effective therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention and care.
• Employing diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programming, to optimize patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as physicians and occupational therapists to formulate integrated care plans.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols based on outcomes and patient feedback.
• Providing education and motivation to patients to actively engage in their rehabilitation process, encouraging adherence to their fitness and wellness goals.
• Maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes while complying with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, with a particular focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and age-related mobility challenges. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean record with no board or disciplinary actions on their license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and program design for patient rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be at an advantage. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation equipment and methodologies, along with a proactive approach to patient care, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
