Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized assessments and develop tailored therapy strategies for clients, ensuring that each treatment plan addresses their specific needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy in one-on-one, family, and group settings.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in client care.

• Engage in continual learning and professional development by attending workshops and staying updated on recent advancements in mental health research.

• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care and positive patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a diverse client base who may be experiencing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our focus on community health means that you will be an integral part of improving the emotional well-being of individuals and families in Weslaco, Texas, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, along with performance-based bonuses.
