Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult Med Surg/Telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, and evaluation
- Monitor cardiac status, interpret telemetry strips, respond to arrhythmias, and administer cardiac medications as ordered
- Manage IV access, administer IV therapies, and perform wound care as needed
- Document in the electronic health record and communicate with the multidisciplinary team; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain a 1:5 nurse-patient ratio and float to MS units as required
- Respond to patient care needs, call lights, and participate in shift handoffs and patient transitions

Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- NIH Stroke Certification required before start
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
- Ability to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed; travel experience preferred
- Flu vaccine or declination accepted
