Independent Handyman - Flooring Specialist

Job Description

The Independent Handyman – Flooring Specialist is responsible for delivering expert flooring installation services across both residential and commercial projects. Working solo, this role requires traveling to various job sites using a personal vehicle and ensuring each project meets high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The position offers opportunities for advancement within the field.

Responsibilities

Install flooring materials accurately and efficiently
Prepare job sites for flooring installation
Measure and cut materials to fit project specifications
Perform surface finishing to ensure a polished look
Diagnose and resolve flooring-related problems on site
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance
Travel independently to various residential and commercial job sites

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in flooring installation
Valid driver’s license with own vehicle for travel
Skills in carpentry and flooring installation techniques
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
Excellent customer service and attention to detail
