Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This is an opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Cardiac unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac drip experience, particularly with medications such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
Administer cardiac medications and monitor patient responses.
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7, ensuring individualized attention.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Active and in good standing Registered Nurse license (Compact or AL).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certifications are required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
Experience in MS/Tele settings with cardiac patient care.

Scheduling Information

Block scheduling is available.
Every Other Weekend (EOW) commitment is required.
Nights: 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Additional Information

Compliance documentation is due one week prior to the start date.
COVID and flu vaccinations are required, with exemptions permitted for documented religious or medical reasons.
Orientation consists of 16 non-billable hours.
