Job Description

The HR Coordinator’s job entails providing support for a wide variety activities of human resources including employee relations, payroll, HR reporting, recruiting and administration of benefits. The main responsibility of the HR Coordinator is to advise managers, supervisors and employees in all HR practices to provide information and support about regulations, interpretation of policies and procedures, interpretation of our employee handbook and to provide general support. The HR Coordinator will also work closely with the HR Central/Share Services Team. In general a HR generalist performs a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services. 

YOUR TASKS

• Preparing and maintaining job documentation, job evaluations and company salary structure systems 
• Writing ads and posting open positions. Drafting offer letters for new hires 
• Checking applicant references, making job offers and initiating new hire paperwork 
• Participating in development and execution of orientation programs and procedures for new employees 
• Administering and explaining benefits to employees, serving as liaison between insurance carriers and employees 
• Review employee complaints and ensure accurate and timely documentation of concerns or issues 
• Facilitating actions to resolve the employee issues and escalating them to appropriate management team 
• Assist Payroll department with payroll processing and employee inquires. 
• Enter Confidential Personnel data into HRIS systems and assist with HR reporting 
• File and organize confidential employee documents as required 
• Coordinate workers compensation administration, leaves of absence, AAP/EEO administration 
• Tracks and schedules mandated employee training 
• Assist with Visas and Green Card processing 
• Worker’s Compensation administration 
• Leave of absence administration 
• Maintaining office supplies, onboarding materials, etc 

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee services, or administrative support.
• Experience working with UKG or other HRIS platforms and onboarding systems preferred.
