Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions that concentrate on mobility, strength enhancement, balance, and overall functionality
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to achieve optimal outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercises
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments provided, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred: CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
