As a Security Officer - Screening Coordinator in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will help monitor entry activity, verify access, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. This role combines strong communication, attention to detail, and visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, badge and credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location while following post orders and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry points, and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
