As a Security Officer - Screening Monitor in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. At a leading tech location, Allied Universal officers in this Screener role help monitor entry points, screen visitors and deliveries, support badge and access activities, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This position blends customer service, communication, and teamwork in a dynamic environment where you can bring integrity, reliability, and innovation to every interaction.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, and/or belongings entering designated areas in accordance with location policies and post instructions within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry points, credential checks, and visitor processing to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions in office, production, and/or campus environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
