As a Security Officer Credential Gate Monitor in BOISE, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to manage access for employees, contractors, and guests in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident documentation related to visitor processing, deliveries, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
