You will have access to a variety of digital tools and resources that support remote counseling practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms among clients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client's specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate behavioral change and emotional healing.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and relevant training opportunities.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and fight stigma by contributing to community outreach initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients who are struggling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also support marginalized groups, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your work will require a commitment to understanding their unique challenges and fostering a safe space for healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
