Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients suffering from mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Regularly track and document client progress; tailor treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and changing client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on offering therapeutic support to clients experiencing mood disorders, including conditions such as depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and bipolar disorder. Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, which may include individuals from marginalized communities, those affected by domestic violence, or individuals experiencing homelessness. Your empathy and culturally sensitive approach will be invaluable as you help them navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .
