TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Physician with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This opportunity offers an outpatient-only practice serving an underserved patient population within a mission-driven healthcare organization. Providers will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong clinical support while delivering comprehensive primary care across the lifespan.

Location: Roanoke Rapids Family Practice, North Carolina

Setting: Outpatient Primary Care (FQHC)

Schedule: Monday Friday (open to 34 consecutive days)

Patient Volume: 1618 patients per day

Call: Very light after-hours telephonic call

Start Date: As soon as possible

Dental services and in-house pharmacy support available

Support Staff: Full clinical and administrative support staff available

Team-based care environment

On-site Specialists: None

Call Responsibilities: Very light after-hours telephonic call

Calls are first triaged by experienced RN staff

Provider contacted only for urgent situations or documentation clarification

Weekend or Holiday Call: None

Clinics are closed on major holidays.

Schedule & Coverage

Expected Schedule: Monday through Friday coverage

Five days per week preferred

Open to 34 consecutive day schedules

Lunch Break: 1 hour

Candidate Requirements

MD or DO

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds

Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred

Willingness to see 1618 patients per day

Meet quality metrics for preventive and chronic disease management

Credentialing: Fast credentialing turnaround

Credentialing with major payors supported

Prior Medicare/Medicaid enrollment not required but preferred
