Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a short-term locum tenens opportunity in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

The physician will provide obstetric and gynecologic services in a collaborative practice environment supported by Certified Nurse Midwives and advanced practice providers.

The assignment combines scheduled clinic responsibilities with 24-hour obstetric call coverage.

The physician is not required to remain onsite throughout the call period but must be available to respond to the hospital when clinical situations require physician-level intervention.

• Average inpatient census of 6

• Approximately 2 daytime admissions and 2 overnight admissions

• No ICU responsibilities

• No code response responsibilities

• No emergency department backup

• Board Certification required
