Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver group and individual therapy sessions to clients, implementing evidence-based modalities tailored to their unique situations.

• Conduct thorough assessments and prepare detailed documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Develop aftercare plans with clients to ensure a successful transition post-therapy, involving family members and other relevant stakeholders as needed.

• Maintain open communication with clients, their families, and outside clinicians to promote a seamless continuity of care.

• Adhere to company policies for timely completion of required documentation and compliance with ethical standards in therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals and families facing mental and behavioral health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Working with diverse populations, you will be instrumental in providing culturally competent care that addresses the specific needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of New York.
\n
• At least 2 years of professional experience dealing with individual and group therapy, particularly with clients experiencing co-occurring disorders or substance abuse issues.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working with children and adolescents, particularly in a family therapy context.
