Labor & Delivery Rn
Schedule: 3x12s, 7p – 7:30a (36 hours/week)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of labor & delivery experience
- EPIC experience required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN advanced or NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN advanced
- Key clinical skills: labor & delivery care, vaginal delivery, c-section assist/recovery, fetal monitoring (external & internal, IUPC), and EFM interpretation, IV starts and infusion pump/drip management, postpartum hemorrhage management, magnesium sulfate therapy, epidural care, neonatal care/APGAR, and NSTs
- Experience with administration of blood products, sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients
Compliance / Notes:
- Weekend coverage required
- May be required to float (antepartum / other units as needed)
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Pre-approved time off allowed: 2 shifts/days
- Ohio fingerprinting required
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
