Real Estate Paralegal

Law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
• Prepare and maintain transaction closing checklists and monitor all closing deliverables
• Order, review, and manage title commitments, title policies, and related title documentation
• Prepare and respond to title objection letters and coordinate with title companies to resolve issues
• Draft routine correspondence, transmittal letters, and standard transaction documents from firm-approved templates
• Assist with commercial purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing matters, and, when applicable, lending transactions
• Form and maintain business entities, including LLCs, limited partnerships, and corporations, in connection with real estate transactions
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, title companies, lenders, and third parties to facilitate successful closings
• Maintain organized transaction files and ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and timely

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of substantive commercial real estate paralegal experience
• Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
• Experience handling commercial purchase and sale transactions and commercial leasing matters; lending transaction experience is a plus

Salary Range: $120-140K
