About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years (will consider 2 years with strong experience) License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Strong general OR and robotics experience - Ability to scrub and circulate Description: The position is for an Operating Room RN with a mid-shift start time. Experience in a Level II Trauma center is required. Candidates should have knowledge of general OR cases including trauma, uro, podiatry, ortho, plastics, neuro, gyn, endo's, ENT, thoracic, vascular, and cardio. Da Vinci robotics experience is essential. The RN will be expected to work weekends and participate in on-call shifts. On-call during the weekday/weeknight shifts starts from the end of the shift until 6:30 AM the following morning. Weekend on-call is a 24-hour commitment. The RN must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in. Floating within the specialty may be required. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Epic EMR experience is required. Preferred certifications include ACLS, CNOR, and NIHSS. This role involves direct patient care, hence effective communication and teamwork are vital for success.
