About the Position

Job Title: OR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3 years preferred; will consider 2 years if strong experience License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong general OR and robotics experience Ability to scrub and circulate Description: The candidate will work in the Operating Room. A minimum of three years of operating room experience is preferred, but two years may be considered with strong qualifications. First-time travelers will be accepted with proven general OR and robotics expertise. The role requires the ability to scrub and circulate for various surgeries. Candidates must be willing to work evening shifts. The position may require on-call duties, including weekend coverage. Experience at a Level II Trauma center is preferred. The candidate will be expected to manage general OR cases involving trauma, urology, podiatry, orthopedics, plastics, neurology, gynecology, endoscopy, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardio, and bariatric procedures. Knowledge of Da Vinci robotics is essential. The position will include a patient care ratio of 1:1. Mandatory holiday coverage will be required according to the schedule. Rotational weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities will also be part of the job. The ideal candidate should possess strong surgical skills and a dedication to patient care.
