CNC Machine OperatorLocation: St. Petersburg, FLPay: $25.00 per hourSchedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 3:00 PMJob SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in St. Petersburg. This position is responsible for the safe operation and basic maintenance of a variety of machine tools, including CNC lathes, CNC mills, manual mills, and manual lathes. The ideal candidate is committed to producing high-quality parts while following safety, quality, and production standards.Key ResponsibilitiesWash, dry, count, and bag manufactured parts.Operate CNC and manual machining equipment using blueprints, process instructions, and verbal directions.Produce parts according to required specifications while meeting production schedules and cycle times.Perform in-process inspections and accurately complete required inspection worksheets.Review approved first-piece inspections before beginning production runs.Identify and immediately report any out-of-tolerance conditions or product defects.Maintain production records, logbooks, and other required documentation.Perform daily and periodic machine maintenance as directed.Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and improve product quality.Assist with general shop duties and perform other responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsExperience operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment preferred.Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and process documentation.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Manufacturing or machine shop experience is preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.Frequent walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 30 pounds.Ability to use magnification devices to inspect small parts and fine details.Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers in a manufacturing environment.If you're looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with competitive pay and a consistent weekday schedule, we'd love to hear from you!
