Account Receivable Clerk Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.00 to $ 35.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)

• Responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and provides professional customer service regarding billing and payment inquiries.
• Prepare and send customer invoices and statements.
• Post and accurately record customer payments.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Contact customers regarding past-due invoices and payment status.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payment and account issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts receivable records. Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accounts receivable reports as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Account Receivable Clerk Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting coursework is a plus. 1+ year of accounts receivable or accounting experience required
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting or ERP software is preferred.
