Staff Accountant - Hybrid

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a publicly traded company, is seeking a Staff Accountant in Rutherford, NJ. This role is commutable by mass transit from NYC. The role is hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. This company offers fantastic benefits, good hours, annual bonus, unlimited PTO & opportunity to advance!Key Tasks:

• Responsible for assisting in the recognition of revenue and valuation of associated receivable reserves for their responsible areas
• Analyze receivables and related disallowance, patient price concessions & bad debt reserves to drive the decision-making process and record related journal entries
• Analyze significant trends and report monthly financial results
• Contribute to monthly Revenue Analytics Reporting to Regional Leadership Teams
• Participate in the revenue and volume forecasting and budgeting process
• Collaboratively drive initiatives and recommend solutions
• Develop and maintain standardized best practices for revenue reporting and analysis
• Proactively identify trends and collaborate with stakeholders to investigate and take appropriate action

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent degree required
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 1-3 years of audit experience in a national public accounting firm and/or corporate accounting experience out of a Fortune 500 company
• Strong computer and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
