Payroll Specialist

Overview Our client is a premier strategic financial advisory firm headquartered in New York City and they are seeking a Payroll Specialist . This position is hybrid and based 3 out of 5 days at their office in Midtown Manhattan. Job Details Report to the Payroll Manager Lead the full cycle payroll process Weekly and semimonthly payroll runs for 400-500 employees Process multi-state U.S. payroll Stay up to date on compliances and all federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements Ensure employee timecards are accurate using ADP Workforce Now Point of contact with Clients Work closely with HR to ensure accurate data entry of payroll changes into ADP system Serving as a back-up in Senior Payroll Specialist or Payroll Coordinator absence Maintain and update the payroll procedure manual Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects, as needed Salary Range: $85-100k annually, based on experience Stellar Benefits Package: 100% funded health, vision, and dental insurance, 401K plan with company match, generous PTO and paid holidays, philanthropic opportunities, and great work-life balance! Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business 5+ years of Payroll experience including weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls Up to date on US individual tax laws/regulations for 400+ employees Multistate experience Must have ADP Workforce Now experience Extremely confident Excel skills Excellent candidates have experience with: ADP benefits module, benefits, HCM, Timekeeping, ADP Smart Compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr Gainor Staffing
