Senior Accounting Manager - Family Office A large, multi-generational family office is seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting across a complex multi-entity structure with significant private equity and real estate investments. Responsibilities include: Oversee and review monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting for partnerships, operating companies, and trusts Review accounting workpapers prepared for tax return preparation Coordinate with private equity fund managers and third‑party administrators Apply strong technical accounting judgment to complex transactions and investment structures Serve as a primary accounting liaison to internal tax teams Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for complex investments, including private equity funds and direct investments as well as real estate holdings and related entities Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Train, mentor, and support accounting staff Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency Support special projects, entity structuring initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting needs Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with management exposure Experience in family office, private equity, real estate, hedge fund, or public accounting environments Big 4 or top‑tier public accounting experience a plus Strong expertise in partnership accounting and complex entity structures Proven experience reviewing workpapers for tax return preparation and coordinating with tax professionals Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Experience in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven, in‑office environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
