Position Overview

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing apartments, maintaining strong resident relationships, conducting property tours, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the leasing office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service.
• Conduct engaging property tours and showcase community amenities and apartment homes.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-in traffic in a timely and professional manner.
• Explain lease terms, rental qualifications, and community policies.
• Assist prospective residents through the application and move-in process.
• Maintain accurate leasing traffic, prospect, and resident records.
• Follow up with prospects to maximize occupancy and leasing goals.
• Support resident retention initiatives and provide outstanding resident service.
• Assist with marketing efforts, outreach activities, and community events as needed.
• Ensure the leasing office maintains a professional appearance and welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective residents.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with computers, email systems, and property management software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
