Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and health evaluations, to determine health status and needs.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions, responsibly managing treatments and interventions with the support of the healthcare team.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans that may include prescribing medications and therapies tailored to each patient's health goals.
• Monitor ongoing patient progress, adjusting care plans and interventions based on the patient's response to treatment and emerging health needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication regimens, and preventive health strategies to promote self-management.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records in alignment with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in documentation practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the patient's health.

Qualifications

• An active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Florida is required.
• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in nurse practitioner studies is essential.
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• A valid DEA license and an NPI number are necessary for prescribing medication.
• Current Florida Board of Pharmacy license is required.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in outpatient, primary care, or hospital settings is preferred, showcasing the ability to manage a diverse range of patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
