Pain Management Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time Onsite Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough history and physical examinations to assess patient conditions effectively.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, ensuring that patients receive appropriate evaluations for their pain management needs.
• Develop personalized medication management plans that may include both narcotic and non-narcotic options, adhering to established practice guidelines.
• Assess patients' appropriateness for various interventional pain treatments, including epidural steroid injections, trigger point injections, occipital nerve blocks, TENS unit evaluations, and spinal cord stimulator placements.
• Perform specific procedures like trigger point injections, Botox/Dysport injections, and removal of temporary SCS leads, directly contributing to pain alleviation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients suffering from various pain conditions, which can range from acute to chronic. This includes geriatric patients who often require tailored approaches to handle their pain while considering their overall health complexities. Your expertise in pain management will be critical to improving the quality of life for these individuals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
• An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license within the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in geriatrics and pain management.

Preferred Experience

We highly encourage applications from newly graduated nurses and those with experience in critical care, family nursing, inpatient care, outpatient settings, pediatrics, telemedicine, or any background within a hospital setting. Compensation and Benefits
