Full-Time Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient Cardiology Specialist

Position Overview

Serenity Solutions Medical Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient practice within the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC). Under the guidance of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and collaborating closely with the Medical Director in our Division of Cardiology, the NP will play a crucial role in managing cardiovascular health for our patients. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Tampa, Florida, with a competitive annual salary range between USD 120,000 and USD 130,000.

Work Environment

The work environment at Serenity Solutions Medical Clinic is dynamic and patient-centered. As an NP, you will be situated within a well-equipped hospital facility, collaborating directly with other healthcare providers. You will have access to advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies, enabling you to provide high-quality care effectively. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no required calls, nights, or weekends, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension and high cholesterol.
• Conduct clinical assessments, take patient histories, and perform comprehensive physical examinations to inform treatment strategies.
• Manage outpatient-only Electrophysiology services, interpreting ECGs, treating arrhythmias, and monitoring patients with medical devices.
• Oversee the care of patients with acute conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, and Vascular Heart Disease, ensuring timely interventions.
• Facilitate stress testing and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
• Provide ongoing education to patients and their families regarding cardiac health, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
• Coordinate care by referring patients to other specialists within our healthcare group as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population with varying degrees of cardiac health challenges, from those newly diagnosed to those managing chronic conditions. Our clinic emphasizes preventive care and the education of patients and families on the importance of cardiovascular health. By working closely with our patients, you will significantly contribute to reducing hospital readmissions and improving overall patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a focus on adult or family practice.
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Nursing is required.
• Must possess a valid state Nurse Practitioner license and national certification.
• Strong foundational knowledge in cardiology is essential, with experience in outpatient settings preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a cardiology-related role is strongly preferred, whether in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly in managing patient documentation and care plans.
• Demonstrated skills in patient education and collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits
