Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and skin examinations, to determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of dermatological conditions, ensuring the application of evidence-based practices in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
• Perform cosmetic dermatological procedures, including Botox injections and dermal fillers, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Assist in skin cancer screening protocols and provide comprehensive post-operative care, educating patients about self-examinations and follow-up care.
• Develop and implement personalized skincare regimens and treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in dermatology and participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in dermatology or a family nurse practitioner program that includes dermatology-specific coursework.
• Certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) issued by the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida with the ability to prescribe medications.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
