Head of Global Payroll | Alternative Asset Management
\nLocation: New York City
\nMadison Davis is partnering with a leading global alternative asset manager seeking an experienced Head of Global Payroll to lead payroll operations across the U.S., London, and Hong Kong.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional to take ownership of a global function, drive process improvements, and work closely with senior Finance leadership.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead end-to-end global payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. \n
- Oversee payroll tax compliance, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements. \n
- Manage payroll-related benefits, including 401(k), employer contributions, and other employee benefit programs. \n
- Oversee payroll systems, vendor relationships, and international payroll providers. \n
- Drive payroll automation, system enhancements, and process improvements. \n
- Partner with Finance, HR, Tax, and Technology on payroll and workforce-related initiatives. \n
- Support payroll accounting, reconciliations, audits, and compensation reporting. \n
- Lead and develop payroll team members. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- 10+ years of progressive payroll experience , including leadership of end-to-end payroll operations. \n
- Strong Workday Payroll experience highly preferred. \n
- Deep knowledge of payroll taxation, compliance, benefits administration, and payroll reporting. \n
- Experience managing payroll for a global or multinational workforce. \n
- Proven ability to improve payroll processes, implement systems, and manage external vendors. \n
- Experience in financial services or asset management preferred, but not required. \n
- Understanding of payroll accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations. \n
- CPP certification or equivalent preferred. \n
