Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Mexia, Texas
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 1-2 Night Shifts per Week with Rotating Weekends
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ICU RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, managing critical care drips, and handling ventilator and BiPAP management.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients using telemetry systems and manage vital signs.
- Administer medications and critical care drips as per protocols.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care.
- May be required to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) when census is low in ICU.
- Participate in routine assessments and patient education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Valid RN license.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Experience with managing patients with conditions such as CHF, AFIB RVR, DKA, PNA, and Sepsis.
