About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Analyze clients' financial information to identify tax deductions and credits.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering client inquiries and addressing concerns.
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of tax preparation experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA certification is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Compensation: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour
