Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling you to engage with clients directly while working from your home or personal office. However, you will also be a part of a supportive and collaborative virtual multidisciplinary care team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals. Your contributions are vital as we integrate mental health care within the detox process, promoting both safety and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for individuals in detox, evaluating their psychological and emotional needs in conjunction with their medical history and current treatment objectives.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address mental health issues and support clients' strategies for successful reintegration into their communities post-detox.

• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, to manage diverse mental health concerns.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding participants toward healthier coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills.

• Collaborate intensively with other mental health experts to create a coordinated care plan that holistically addresses each client's needs in the detox environment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques and facilitating appropriate referrals when higher levels of care are required.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment choices, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and involvement in the recovery process.

• Maintain comprehensive and current documentation of all client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve care quality and inter-professional collaboration.

• Stay informed about current laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing mental health practice, especially in detox and correctional settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position involves working directly with individuals undergoing detoxification, many of whom may also be facing co-occurring mental health disorders. You will provide critical mental health support during a vulnerable time, helping clients navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges as they work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Washington is essential.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in mental health or correctional care, is necessary to qualify for this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
