Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments on teenagers and young adults to create individualized treatment plans that effectively address their unique needs.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, including behavioral therapy techniques, to support patients in overcoming mental health challenges related to their substance use.

• Maintain meticulous case documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in patient records.

• Collaborate closely with an integrated healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and treatment pathways.

• Provide crisis intervention as required, offering immediate support to clients during critical moments and facilitating appropriate referrals for additional services.

• Stay informed on the latest practices in mental health counseling and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with youth and young adults experiencing substance use issues and associated mental health disorders. This demographic often faces unique challenges, such as peer pressure, family dynamics, and co-occurring conditions, requiring a sensitive and tailored approach to treatment. Your clinical expertise will help empower them to navigate these challenges while fostering resilience and independence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• An active Washington State License as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• A certification in mental health counseling is preferred, reinforcing your qualifications and dedication to the field.

• At least two years of direct experience working with youth and/or young adults facing mental health disorders, particularly within a substance use context.

• Proven proficiency in conducting patient assessments and implementing behavioral therapy techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals to additional resources as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
