Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop collaborative and personalized treatment plans with clients that integrate their individual goals, preferences, and evidence-based interventions.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address specific mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to empower their recovery journey.

• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to the treatment plans as required in alignment with their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on assisting individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. The therapist will work with a diverse population, each with unique backgrounds, presenting challenges, and treatment goals. With a focus on personalized care, the therapist's work directly contributes to improving clients' mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
