Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms and the impact of mood disorders on their daily lives, using standardized tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, providing invaluable support for informed decision-making.

• Continuously monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans based on individual responses and needs to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nursing staff, to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care, sharing insights and strategies during regular case consultations.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in mood disorders to refine clinical practices and improve treatment methodologies.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress accurately and confidentially, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals battling mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. As a therapist, you will engage with a diverse clientele, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the varied cultural and emotional needs of each patient. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Proven experience in delivering effective therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals with mood disorders.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working in mental health settings, specifically with adult populations facing mood disorders or similar mental health challenges, is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital therapeutic tools will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
