Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, identifying the severity, frequency, and duration of these symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Offer education and guidance to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and physicians to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of the client’s mental health are addressed.

• Keep informed about advancements in mood disorder research and treatment methodologies to enhance your clinical practice.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans per legal and ethical regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve adults experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our client population is diverse, offering an opportunity for you to engage with individuals from various backgrounds and with unique life experiences. This role emphasizes the importance of building rapport and understanding the cultural context that influences each client's experiences and recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of New York.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
