Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with strong communication and customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and other security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, verify approved access when required, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with post instructions. Support emergency response activities, provide directions and assistance to the public, and follow Allied Universal standards along with site-specific government location procedures. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
