Bioprocessing Account Manager

Repligen Corporation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager responsible for selling the expanding portfolio of highly differentiated upstream and downstream processing solutions that address critical steps in the development and production of biologic drugs – principally in the rProtein, mRNA and Cell & Gene Therapy segments - to new and existing customers across a territory spanning Austria; Hungary; & Slovenia.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of motivation to succeed, highly developed sales and territory management skill sets in the Life Sciences sector and is now looking for the next challenge at a rapidly evolving and innovative bioprocessing-focused life sciences company.Reporting directly to the Director, Sales Central Europe, this will be a home office-based role.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales opportunities direct at the customer to meet or exceed sales targetsDevelop and execute a territory sales plan in close collaboration with the Director, Sales Central EuropeDrive opportunity funnel development & maintain rigor using a market leading CRMSell & negotiate with technical and procurement departmentsWorking as a team, develop and maintain existing and new target accounts across the territory in conjunction with the wider commercial organisation(ISAM; BSS; FAS; Service & GSAM)Selling across the entire product portfolio, develop and support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline from lab to commercial scale operationsInterface with the Business operations to share appropriate product, market and competitive information (voc)Provide Manufacturing and Quality operations with information to support forecasting, customer complaint handling and facility auditsExecute all aspects of field sales activity and customer engagement to include:frequent customer site visits; technical presentations; innovation days; quotes preparation & follow upAttend, manage, and follow-up on all marcom & trade show activities inc. timely lead managementQualificationsA minimum of a BSc degree + in a scientific discipline or equivalentA minimum of 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries. A strong understanding of Cell Culture, Chromatography and Filtration is a priority. However, additional skills and understanding of Upstream and Downstream processing would also be beneficialProven successful sales track record and key account management experienceDemonstrable Prospecting & Qualification skillsProven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partnersStrong analytical and forecasting skillsProfessional Sales & Negotiation trainingsAI awareness & basic competenceWilling to travel extensively throughout the territory (50%) #J-18808-Ljbffr RepliGen Corporation
