Accounting Clerk

Accounting ClerkZurich North America is currently hiring an Accounting Clerk to join their Crop Finance team. This is an office-based role, with the ideal candidate reporting into the Anoka, MN office 5 days per week.In this role you will be responsible for:Issuing claim payments to agents/producersResponsible for printing out the checks and statement of lossResponsible for releasing the payments & statements of lossPreparing mailings in the office to include direct and bulk mailingsResponsible for recording and updating the logsProvide customer service to agents/producersData entry duties will be assigned as neededBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent and no prior years of experience in the Billing area.ORZurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and no prior years of experience in the Billing areaORFor Intermediate Apprenticeship Positions Only: Associate Degree in Accounting or rising Junior with two years of coursework in Accounting and no prior years of experience in the Billing area. Contingent on admittance into University of Arizona Global Campus Bachelor of Arts Accounting programANDMicrosoft Office experienceCollections experiencePreferred Qualifications:Clerical experience in an office settingBasic Microsoft Office skillsData entry skillsMust have excellent written and communication skillsMust be willing and able to lift up to 25 lbsYour pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience.
