Regnum Christi is a spiritual family and an apostolic body in the Catholic Church, with the mission of making the Kingdom of Christ present today, in our hearts, in the hearts of all people, and in the world around us. It is made up of the Legionaries of Christ, the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi, the Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi, and lay members from all walks of life.

The Resource Specialist and Administrative Assistant works on the RC Lay Member support team to facilitate the content development process to produce relevant and priority resources for our RC lay apostles, assist in the logistics for implementation of projects, services, programs, and initiatives offered by the area, management of keeping digital platforms updated, assist with the logistics of the training series, and event and convention planning, logistics and implementation.

Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 DOE

Essential Job Functions:

  • Active member of the area of RC Lay Member support team.
  • Plan and maintain resources and products, budget, and design: survey, analysis of sales, inventory to determine needs, build product timeline, budget, design and update resources and products, map out marketing campaigns and promotion of resources. Work with the communications and marketing department, graphic designer, and administration, as necessary.
  • Manage events, venues, and some vendor relationships: working with venues and vendors on quotes, preparation and submission of art files to production, follow through shipping to fulfillment.
  • Work with content development creators to execute the content development according to plan and to the established process.
  • Update Lay Member Support website and app content Work with administration to update the online store and with the Marketing & Communications department to keep digital platform content updated regularly.
  • Annual contact with those implementing and using products on all levels (RC members and RC formators) to assure products, contents and designs are meeting current and actual needs of the people we are aiming to equip as apostles.
  • Assist with the planning and implement the logistics for the events and convention plan.
  • Implement or assist in the logistics and coordination of different projects, initiatives, programs, and services of the area of RC lay member support.
  • Serve as executive assistant for the RC women's commission and RC Spiritual Directors' Commission.
  • Assist with the logistics and organization of the RC Formators' training series and the on-going formation webinar series.
  • Assist the area director in any administrative tasks as deemed necessary to fulfill project plans or the work plan of the area.
  • Manage coordination and the on-site organization for the RC Booth at the annual SEEK conference.
  • Member of the RC College Lifestyle project team and coordinator of the annual RC Vacation.
  • Participation in any of the national or regional events deemed necessary.

Travel: Some travel to national and/or regional events and SEEK conference may be required. Travel expenses will be covered by the organization.

Compensation and Benefits: $50,000 to $60,000 - The pay range for this position is based on several factors, including but not limited to, experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Preferred Bachelor's degree, with some training or experience in administrative tasks


Experience: Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in a Regnum Christi section


Certifications, Licenses, or Registrations: Safe-environment certification and satisfactory criminal background check

Special Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Basic knowledge of Regnum Christi and ECYD, familiarity with the Statutes and principles of apostolic action.
  • Skills to work with graphic design programs and components.
  • Skills in managing websites and apps to be able to update information, upload components, and online store.
  • Communication and organization skills. This is a remote job position so the ability to communicate effectively via email, phone and video conferencing technology is paramount. It will require organizational skills in the use of time, in large amounts of data and documents, and details of products, processes and events.
  • Ability to professionally work with people; both teamwork and relationship building. This position is part of a team that will require ability to negotiate, change opinions, and dialogue.
  • Knowledge of resource development process and ability to create, develop and design content.
  • Ability to work independently, creatively, innovatively, and according to priorities. As this position is remote, there is a need for self-motivation and initiative.
  • Ability to occasionally travel - overnight travel primarily with in the United States and possibly Canada.
