Job Description
As a PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Master of rate and budget formulation, cost accounting, and customer-reimbursement transactions.
- Deep understanding of financial management and reporting.
- Maintain program financial stability which is a critical responsibility is ensuring the fund maintains a net positive cash balance to avoid Anti-Deficiency Act violations. Adjustments must be made to absorb annual gains or losses through future rate changes or, if necessary, by requesting additional appropriations from Congress.
- Mastery of regulatory compliance, including knowledge of the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) 7000.14-R and relevant fiscal law is required to ensure compliance with the rules governing revolving funds.
