We are searching for a Accounts Payable Clerk with a strong background in Accounts Payable, verifying purchase orders, processing invoices in the Gilroy area! If you enjoy and have experience in the accounting field, this is a perfect opportunity for you!

Job Description:

• Receive, review, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Verify pricing, quantities, and approvals before processing payments.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
• Process and schedule payments for all bills, including vendor and supplier invoices.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and records.
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure account balances are accurate.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Assist with clerical duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $23-24/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
