Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The SLP will work with patients who have experienced neurological changes, brain injuries, strokes, and other communication and swallowing disorders. The position involves collaborative care aimed at promoting recovery and improving patients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrated experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of GG scoring and point of care documentation.
