Location: 17909 Soledad Canyon Rd., Suite 100, Canyon Country, CA 91355
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: $19.00/hour
Dress Code: Scrubs, navy blue preferred
Interview Process: In-person, 1–2 rounds
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Medical Receptionist to support a busy healthcare office. This role is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, updating registration information, handling reminder calls, scanning documents, and completing general clerical duties.
The Medical Receptionist will work closely with Medical Assistants, Clinicians, and Nurses to help ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check in and arrive patients for scheduled visits.
- Enter and update patient registration information, including demographics and insurance details.
- Make appointment reminder calls.
- Scan and upload documents into the appropriate system.
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Support front desk workflow and assist patients with routine questions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow healthcare office procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
- Medical Receptionist experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
No professional license or certification is required for this position.
