Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient RehabRN/Rehab Avg. Daily Census: 10 Ratio: 1:6 all shifts Beds/Rooms: 12 Years of experience REQ: 2 First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke's 6 week schedule period, combination of F/S/S. Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS Skills REQ: Angina, Hypertension, Post MI, Blood glucose monitoring, Insulin protocols, Feeding devices/adaptive equipment, Feeding tube care and management, NG tube insertion/ management, PEG Tube feeding and management, Swallowing precautions, Thickened liquids, Foley catheter removal, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central line care (PICC lines), Starting and maintaining IVs, Venous blood draws, Anticoagulation therapy, Antiseizure, Diuretics, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Neuromuscular disease, Parkinson's disease, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Stroke scale assessment, Traumatic Brain injury, Assistive Devices, Mobilization Techniques, Prosthesis application, Pulse/CMS checks, Suture/Staple removal, Total joint replacement, Incentive Spirometry, Oral /Nasotracheal suctioning, Pulse Oximetry, Supplemental oxygen delivery, Diabetic Teaching, Fall Risk Assessment/Prevention, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Lift/transfer devices, National Patient Safety Goals/Core Measures, Pain assessment & management, Patient Teaching, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Restraints, Specialty beds, Wound Care, respiratory nebulizers/CPAP Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Primary unit will be Inpatient Rehab on the Smithville Campus but will float based on greatest need to other MSI units to include ED for inpatient holds. Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed. Locals accepted: No What is the local radius rule? Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned Special Requirements: Pulmonary conditions, cardiac conditions, Neuro/CVA, Orthopedic recovery, Debility, Amputation RN must be able to perform ekgs, phlebotomy and respiratory treatments as ordered. Manage BiPap/CPAP devices with preprogrammed settings for chronic conditions.
